Nearly two square miles of beautiful, tree lined public parks catch the eye of visitors to Shelby Township, Michigan. Located in Macomb County, Shelby is one of the oldest established townships in the state of Michigan, created back in 1827. Considered one of the outermost suburbs of Detroit, Shelby Township is a haven from the bustling urban lifestyle of Motor City. With a 2010 population of 74,000, it is considered one of the most rapidly developing communities near metropolitan Detroit.

  • If you like to get closer to the field, interact with players, and watch young talent develop, you have just a mile drive down Michigan 53 to Jimmy Johns Park, home of the Utica Unicorns. Minor League Baseball is one of the hottest sports venues in America, and the Unicorns are a competitive club.
